PASTORAL MISSION
Ephesians 4:11-12
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
The Church in Africa is still struggling with only 12% of Pastors able to attend seminary or formal training especially among regions in Kampala, Jinja, Soroti, Masaka Mbarara. Therefore, Tower of Hope International Ministries has facilitated training of over 1000 Pastors on the past 10 years and this has been enabled by partnering with churches in Uganda and the Ugandan diasporas living in the USA
The Church in Africa faces significant challenges, particularly in pastoral education. Many pastors struggle to attend seminary or receive formal training, especially in regions like Kampala, Jinja, Soroti, Masaka, and Mbarara. This gap in education can hinder the ability of pastors to effectively lead and support their congregations.
To address this, Tower of Hope International Ministries has made notable efforts over the past decade. By partnering with churches across Uganda and gaining support from the Ugandan diaspora in the USA, they have facilitated the training of numerous pastors. This initiative has empowered pastors with the knowledge and skills needed to lead their congregations, strengthening the Church's foundation and fostering spiritual growth within communities.
